Bringing peace of mind to families with loved ones that have disabilities or special needs.
Michelle Baker’s mission to serve and advocate for children began in 1996 after adopting twin girls from Romania. In trying to get her daughters the early intervention services they needed, she experienced great difficulty. Even after successfully acquiring those services, the Michelle still faced the challenge of ensuring they received the free and appropriate public education they were entitled to.
Michelle understands the challenges children face in school and the difficulties their parents face in securing the education they deserve. The special education learning curve is steep, and the time it takes to acquire the knowledge to advocate for a child can result in a significant delay in receiving necessary educational services. Because of this personal experience, she is equipped to help other families navigate this complex process.
